The Patterned Notebook Story

Have you ever had a notebook with such a pretty cover but have been disappointed when you open it and the pages are just plain?  

This has happened to me so many times and I am always so disappointed that the inside pages are just so boring, which is where the inspiration for the patterned notebooks came from.  I love the idea of a notebook being just as pretty on the inside and have designed the patterned notebooks with this in mind. 

I love to use colour in my work and wanted my notebooks to have coloured pages, instead of white, as well as fun little characters, soft shapes and lots of cuteness. I think I have managed to achieve this.

As with my fabric notebooks they are handmade using 80gsm FSC certified paper in a selection of pretty pastel colours.  The covers have a smooth feel and are made from 250gsm card.

These notebooks have been a work in progress for so long but I couldn’t be happier with the final result.  Actually…that’s not quite the end of the patterned notebook story…watch this space!
