My Dad has always taught me the value of preparation.  If you take your time to prepare things well then no matter how much time you take to get there, if you prepare properly the end result will be worth it.  

That’s kind of where I am at the moment.   The planning and preparation is taking a little longer than I’d hoped but I am making progress, really good progress.  I’ve refined the design of the notebooks to make creating them a little more efficient and as soon as the rest of my supplies arrive I can finally start production.

The other work in progress is the secret new product I’m working on.  It’s finally in the test phase, alongside the notebooks (clue there!) and I’m really excited to see how it all comes together.  

The past few weeks have been full of obstacles and roadblocks and sometimes as much as you want to show up life just gets in the way.  A few days ago as I was working on my notebooks I remembered this quote by Jacob Nordby and was reminded why I do this.

“You know how every once in a while you do something and the little voice inside says, “There, That’s it.  That’s why you’re here.”…and you get a warm glow in your heart because you know it’s true?

Do more of that.

So that’s exactly what I’m going to do.
