It’s been a while since my last blog and we’re now into the second half of the year.  The first half has certainly had its challenges but I’m excited about the coming months and the items on my creative table.

For the past few months I have been working on my patterned notebooks, although they have actually been a work in progress for a lot longer than that. The inspiration for these came from years of owning notebooks with pretty covers but once you opened them up, the inside was rather disappointing.

I love the idea of a notebook being just as pretty on the inside and have designed the patterned notebooks with this in mind.  I love to use colour in my work and wanted my notebooks to have coloured pages, instead of white, as well as fun little characters, soft shapes and lots of cuteness. I think I have managed to achieve this.

It’s definitely been a huge learning curve and there were quite a few occasions when the notebooks nearly went out of the window but as Albert Einstein once said “You never fail until you stop trying”, very wise words indeed.
